I just discovered Ceramsite pebbles 🌿 They don’t retain water and they are more dense than leca. These definitely can’t take the place of leca but they are cute to anchor down water props or as a topper on soil plants! Adding layers of rocks/leca to the top of soil plants also helps keep pests away, especially fungus gnats.
