If you’ve missed spotting the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament like I did, don’t worry! Part of the challenge is simply language. The Hebrew word “ruach” means Spirit, but also breath and wind - appearing nearly 400 times throughout Scripture in various contexts. Just as ruach means both spirit and breath, we can experience the Spirit as close as our next inhale. Remember how God breathed life into Adam? The disciples experienced this same intimacy when Jesus breathed the Holy Spirit upon them.
